We are a non-affiliated, non-denominational Protestant body of believers in Jesus Christ and students of the Bible. We meet for two bible studies each week, on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM, and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM. Our studies center upon teaching the Word of God line upon line, precept upon precept, uncluttered by denominational editorial. We observe communion on the first Wednesday evening class of each month.
Our teaching:
Isagogically. That means we consider the historical, geographical, economic, political, & cultural elements of the time in which the Scriptures were written.
Categorically. That means we develop topics, or doctrines of Scripture, such as the Doctrine of Redemption, the Doctrine of Justification, the Doctrine of Reconciliation, the Doctrine of Propitiation, etc. An accurate interpretation of any portion of Scripture is impossible without an understanding of how that portion relates to the entire body of Scriptures.
Exegetically. That means we study using the original Hebrew and Greek texts to aid our understanding of the Truth being communicated to us from God through the original writers of Scripture.
Our Pastor:
Pastor Brad West credits the following Biblical scholars for influencing his ministry: Lewis Sperry Chafer, W.O. Vaught, Gary Turner, R.B. Thieme, Jr.
Our beliefs:
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone, and is the work of God apart from human works or merit. In doctrine, we are grace-oriented, dispensational, pre-tribulational, and pre-millennial. We do not pass an offering plate as we see that as coercion, instead we trust each believer to give as they are gifted and led by the Holy Spirit.
If you have a church and are growing in the knowledge and Grace of God, you should remain there. If not, or if you seek additional study, we welcome you to visit our Bible Studies at 922 Main St. Arkadelphia, AR.
Your generous donations fund our missions.
